FARMERS FAMILIES NEED HELP

When we started MADDAD,the helping hand.. the only thought was using all our goodwill ,resources,contacts to do some good work & help people. After a very satisfying & fruitful effort for the Tsunami Victims, which included sending lots of Aid to SriLanka , a badly hit country through The Ex Captain of Srilankan Cricket team,Mr Arjuna Ranatunga , Giving13 Fishing Boats , # sets of Fishing Nets & a motor for the boat to the village at Cuddalore. We , with help from dedicated workers of ISHA foundation ,who helped us with communicating & drawing out contracts with locals who spoke only Tamil.. made sure 4 fisher families shared each boat ,so ineffect 52 families were helped .
Today the crisis to hit Maharashtra if the FARMERS SUICIDE crisis . Though this tragic phenomena is happening in other states too, Maharashtra is worst hit.

Maddad & Poonam Dhillon are doing a Fund raiser on 25th June for helping famalies of these farmers who after tragic painful loss of the Bread winner of family are left hapless & in terrible financial state. Many families consist of old parents, helpless ,uneducated wife, dependant young children .
Our effort is to PERSONALLY hand money to these families.
Poonam dhillon has used her personal contacts and requested favours from top designers to donate Clothes , Art Jewellery & hand bags to be given as token of appreciation to people who donate for this cause .
YOU TOO CAN JOIN THIS EFFORT & HELP.. Cheques can be made to MADDAD & all the proceeds will go to the families of Farmers who are desperate need for Help.
Unfortunately we at this time cannot accept foreign currency as aid , but will work on the Stringent permission that Government requires us to have for this
